And so it begins...

Yesterday the car went.  It was sad to see her go...and yes, though some cars are "he" vehicles, this was a she.  Sigh.  Hope she finds a good home.

Then there was today.  Cripes, what a deal.  The mover guys showed up at 9:30 this morning, and left at 7:00 this evening.  We couldn't help them at all, due to Customs stuff, though we tried to make things easier by sorting and stacking, etc.  Ozzy went into "nervous breakdown" mode, especially when his box of toys disappeared.  I kept out several toys, but to take his box..??  Horrors.  The moving guys were most excellent and man, I did NOT envy them this task.

This is Ralph, tackling my sewing cabinet.  I'm sure he felt he'd drawn the short straw.
Brian, stuck for hours in the kitchen.

Ralph and Dale, trying to figure out how to pack the antique clock.

At the end of the agonizing day:

So, tomorrow the bulk of the furniture goes and we'll be reduced to bare bones.  I'll fill in the gory details on that deal.  Gotta go, Alan has just returned with Chinese.  One good thing about an empty kitchen...
