Middle of Nowhere...

So, here we are, the middle of the week...Wednesday...and not much going on.  I barely managed to get my word count up yesterday, and in fact, didn't reach my goal in the Catch-Up Sweepstakes, but there you go.  I gave up late in the afternoon and made Chocolate Chip Cookies instead.  So, sue me.

I had to see a specialist yesterday, too.  Here's the prescription he gave me:

The weather was so bad, with lashing rain and high winds, I felt like I was writing in a cave.  Normally (any month except November), I would have reveled in the perfect book reading day, but it made me want to take a nap instead.  Not very conducive for writing.  It was such a crap day, we didn't even take Ozzy down the mountain to the park.  Mainly because he wouldn't leave the house.  He'd stick his nose out the door, take a good look, and turn right back into the warm and cozy living room.

Today I have to crack on with the plot.  Hopefully, having filled my prescription, that dose of plot will kick in by the time I sit down to write.  If not, I will check into this motel I found on the internet, assuming they will have a vacancy before the end of the month.

Hey, a girl can dream, can't she??
